Doing so will sound great, but when you play the audio anywhere else without Boom, it’ll likely sound bad as you don’t have Boom’s equalization which is what you mixed to. I do amateur production and always forget I’ve got the default settings and Boom going. That said, if you do any sort of audio editing or mixing, especially music, DO NOT route your DAW/audio editor output through Boom.

Most of us have quality speakers and/or headphones for serious music appreciation/listening. I agree with the other reviewer who says it should be included or recommended with the purchase of every Mac. This app has resolved both volume level for Podcasts and improved the quality of music when I want to listen to Apple Music while I work. And, as might be expected, music sounded tinny, but I didnt want to invest in computer speakers since my laptop is my 2nd floor computer and there isn’t a lot of room where I use it.
